Equipped with a pen, gifted with a voice, Kris Hohag, aka Kwa-Z, is an artist, father, and educator in the Eastern Sierra. A citizen of the Bishop Paiute tribe, and a descendent of the Mono Lake Kutzadika Paiute Tribe, he founded Legendary Skies to offer local indigenous cultural ecotourism and promote tribal business leadership. Legendary Skies Enterprises works to promote wellness, prosperity and sustainability for all indigenous communities, with a particular focus on youth. - Scott Johnston
Scott is one of the founders and head coach at Uphill Athlete, the foremost training and education resource for mountain sport athletes. Allan has been enjoying the delights of the Sierra Nevada for over 50 years during all four seasons of the sun. His hiking, skiing, running, climbing and picnicking adventures have taken him all over the range. Howie and Karen are both enthusiastic trail runners and mountain athletes who have lived together in Bishop, California since 2001. Howie is a UIAGM mountain guide and an owner/manager of Sierra Mountain Guides, Inc. Karen was the mayor of Bishop in 2018 and 2022, and is manager of their business, Sage to Summit, a mountain shop and climbing gym on Main Street. - Ann Piersall Logan
Ann is the artist behind AnnieP Fine Art and Darn Fine Hats. She lives in Bishop, California, on the eastside of the beautiful Sierra Nevada. Ann’s art is inspired by the colors, geometry, and adventures of the places that she loves.
